Gold Beach

Gold Beach is a charming small town of 2300 residents that serves as the county seat of Curry County. It offers scenic views of the Rogue River, jetties, Pacific Ocean and boasts an impressive number of cultural attractions, They include jet boat excursions up the Rogue River, charter fishing, a superb independent bookstore combination coffee shop, several excellent restaurants, fresh, locally caught seafood, an informative history museum, an outstanding library, and a beautiful historic bridge with a nature trail under its south approach. For more information about what to do and see in the area, head to the Gold Beach Visitors Center located at the south end of town on the west side of Highway 101.
